Future Citizens Foundation Donor Policy
Future Citizens Foundation (FCF) is a nonprofit 501(c)(3), and your gift is tax-deductible to the fullest extent of the law. Federal Tax ID: 26-0015069. FCF respects the privacy of all donors. FCF believes in safeguarding personal information and ensuring that donor privacy is protected. Donor names, addresses, and any other personal data provided will be used only by FCF and its following programs (First Tee – Monterey County, Taylor Farms Center for Learning, and Pay It Forward). FCF publishes a list of the names of donors in an annual report which is available on the FCF website. FCF respects all donor requests to be anonymous.
Electronic Personal Records
Donor information is maintained in a secured database, and only authorized personnel have access to this information and only for appropriate purposes.
Mailing Lists
We love to keep our supporters informed of organizational activities, including programs, events, and fundraisers. If at any time an individual chooses not to receive communications, FCF will remove the donor information from the FCF mailing list. FCF does not rent, sell, give away, or trade its donor lists or any information contained on those lists. Donor information is used by the FCF for charitable purposes only and will not be used by any entity. Authorized Release of Information
FCF (First Tee – Monterey County, Pay It Forward, Taylor Farms Center For Learning) may be legally required to disclose information. FCF complies with all applicable legal requirements and standards.
Information Collection, Use, and Sharing
We are the sole owners of the information collected on this site. We only have access to/collect information that you voluntarily give us via email or other direct contacts from you. We will not sell or rent this information to anyone. We will use your information to respond to you, regarding the reason you contacted us. We will not share your information with any third party outside of our organization. Unless you ask us not to, we may contact you via email in the future to tell you about changes to this privacy policy.
Security
We take precautions to protect your information. When you submit sensitive information via the website, your information is protected both online and offline. Wherever we collect sensitive information (such as credit card data), that information is encrypted and transmitted to us in a secure way. You can verify this by looking for a closed lock icon at the bottom of your web browser, or looking for “https” at the beginning of the address of the web page. While we use encryption to protect sensitive information transmitted online, we also protect your information offline. Only employees who need the information to perform a specific job (for example, billing or customer service) are granted access to personally identifiable information. The computers/servers in which we store personally identifiable information are kept in a secure environment.
Refunds
For donations made using the donate button at the fcf-ca.org or firstteemontereycounty.org website, if you have made an error in making your donation or change your mind about contributing to the Future Citizens Foundation, we will honor your request for a refund made within 15 days of your donation. To request a refund, call (831) 800-3458. Refunds are returned using the original method of payment. If you made your donation by credit card, your refund will be credited to that same credit card.
